Some farms in Cieza already shred the remains of agricultural pruning for use in specific facilities that take advantage of its energy value as an alternative to traditional burning with the annoying fumes that, especially in the autumn and winter months, invade the atmosphere.
This week, an agricultural ciezana has started this system after pulling hundreds of trees that had reached their last production. It treats of machines that go triturando the branches and deposit them in big containers. They are then transferred to a plant to convert them into biofuels and energy.
For Ecologists in Action, these practices are a "real alternative to the burning of waste on farms". And there are companies that manage this waste giving a good example to the rest of entrepreneurs who have not yet started this mechanism.
