A unique fair

Expobiomasa is a unique fair where visitors and exhibitors get more contacts in three days than in a whole year. It is a professional fair, in which three of each 4 visitors were already engaged or involved in projects related to biomass, and the rest comes to find products and services to join.

EUROSTAT publishes the average prices that consumers in Spain have paid, taxes included, for energy in December 2021, before the price escalation caused by the war in Ukraine. Electricity had already risen 23% during 2021, gas 22% and heating oil 46%. Few experts in the sector believe that the problems of gas and diesel supply will not become more pronounced and prolonged over time with restrictive policies in the coming years throughout Europe, both economic and environmental.
AVEBIOM proposes to celebrate the 15th edition of EXPOBIOMASA during the second week of May 2023 with the aim of promoting the participation and attendance of the largest possible number of professionals interested in the sector.
The Official Association of Forestry Engineers has proposed to the Government, on the International Day of Forests, that a reduced VAT of 10% be applied, instead of the current 21%, to biomass of forest origin consumed by families for energy use . Such VAT reduction would mean a considerable saving estimated at 8% of the final cost of biomass.
Forest engineers demand, on the International Day of Forests, that the biomass that accumulates in the natural environment be used, increasing the risk of fires, to generate new jobs in rural areas and produce energy that reduces our dependence on countries politically unstable.

Ignisdom has presented at Expobiomasa HEVO, the first wall-mounted pellet boiler that can replace any electric or gas wall-mounted boiler. It has a self-suction system for the pellets from the same bag or from the tank (optional) with a capacity of 65kg. Its minimal dimensions allow it to be hung on the wall and it complies with all currently required European certifications such as ECODESIGN. It also incorporates high-quality components such as a quartz heater and a self-cleaning burner.

7.480 professional visitors attended the event for the sector in 2021, which included the first Renewable Gas Show and the 14th edition of the International Bioenergy Congress. 327 exhibiting firms from 15 countries, dedicated to the manufacture of forestry machinery, solid biofuel and pellet industries, manufacturers, distributors and installers of air conditioning systems, engineering, the auxiliary industry, energy service companies and investment groups.

Avelino Peláez, head of the Amandus Kahl delegation in Spain, presents the characteristics of the brand's largest capacity granulator mill in the following video. With two 315 kW motors, it achieves a production capacity of up to 12 t / h of wood pellets.
