The double AVEBIOM Innovation Award also has the category of Technological innovation. The prizes will be awarded at the Valladolid Fair, on May 9, 2023, at 13:00 p.m., after the official opening of Expobiomasa.

Among the innovative practices presented are mobile briquetting machines in the field, innovative combustion systems, stoves that simplify cleaning, new ways of selling biomass, digital innovation for efficiency or self-consumption of biomass linked to fire prevention.

Until April 20, the public voting period will remain open. Subsequently, a professional jury will evaluate the applications and their result will be averaged with that of the public to designate the winning practice.

Endowment of the prizes

On the other hand, the prize for Technological Innovation is endowed with €2.000 and two second prizes endowed with €500 each will also be awarded. In this category, 41 candidacies have been presented.
