The sixth edition of the Galiforest Abanca monograph will once again bring together the forestry world from June 30 to July 2. It will be, as usual, at the Sergude Agroforestry Training and Experimentation Center, in the Boqueixón town hall, very close to Santiago de Compostela.
After its postponement in 2020 due to the situation arising from Covid-19, the International Fair of Galicia ABANCA is finalizing a major event that will be open to the entire forestry-industry chain and that will put companies, institutions and professionals in contact for three days .
Its exhibition area will feature the presence of the most important firms in the sector, which will show their latest technological innovations and new projects. Likewise, its program will reinforce the number and interest of the sessions, with current issues that will be subject to debate by leading specialists. In addition, it will incorporate new activities that will be added to others already consolidated, such as demonstrations, workshops and its renowned Innovation Contest.
All this in the best possible place, facilities that will allow showing and seeing the operation of the exposed machinery in a very well connected mountain, with easy access and excellent infrastructures.
An edition that is surpassed
Galiforest Abanca will surpass itself again in this edition. Thus, fifteen days after its celebration, it already has 86 direct exhibitors, 15% more than the final figure of the last edition, held in 2018, when there were 75. These companies and entities occupy a net area of 13.682 square metres. square meters, 16% more space than that contracted in the previous call, since then they had been 11.837 square meters.
