HAMMEL Recyclingtechnik GmbH, located in central Germany, is a manufacturer of primary and secondary shredders and processing plants, from where they have been distributed worldwide since 1996.
The range of HAMMEL primary crushers has 5 models available in stationary electric versions or mobile with diesel engine. The second largest is the HAMMEL VB 850 DK.
The newest version consists of the STAGE 5 engine of the Cummins brand with 525 HP. With this powerful motor, the shredder is capable of processing large volume input materials, such as wood waste (roots, stumps, pallets, logs,...). Due to the multifunctional shafts, the shredding of other materials such as bulky products and household waste, aluminum profiles and packages, automobile and light bodies or mixed scrap is also possible and allows the customer full flexibility in use. The machine is equipped with an "easy-to-use" control system where different shredding programs are chosen depending on the material to be shredded.
The HAMMEL VB 850 DK is autonomous via the tracks and can be easily transported. The design is compact with a transport width of only 2,5 m and offers mobility advantages during road transport.
The long discharge conveyor with a discharge height of approx. 4.800 mm can be adjusted hydraulically, allowing high stacking of the output material. An optionally attached permanent magnet on the belt offers the possibility to separate ferrous materials from the output material, to offer optimal post-processing in high-speed machines or screens. The magnet installation design will now be improved to have even better metal separation at a higher level parallel to the discharge belt in whatever position it has.
Especially in Spain, this type of machine is very popular. In cooperation with its new sales and service partner, the company Sinderya SL, located in Galicia, several demonstrations on different materials have been carried out in the last period and some machines are already working in the area of green waste, aluminum profiles and scrap. light mixed. Customers like the machine because of its flexible handling.
