AVEBIOM called a competition to reward Innovation in the biomass sector

AVEBIOM, the Spanish Biomass Association, called within the framework of Expobiomasa, a competition with the aim of rewarding innovation in the biomass sector in 2023. A double category is established.

The call is part of the set of activities that Expobiomasa develops from its firm commitment to the revitalization of the sector and the recognition of the initiatives that contribute to promoting its economic development. In addition, the Award for the best Innovative Practice is part of the H2020 BRANCHES project, promoted in Spain through AVEBIOM and CIRCE, and the Network for the exchange of Innovative Practices with Biomass exchangebiom.

The jury of this call awarded “Electronic Combustion Control-ECC” for wood stoves, presented by JOTUL GROUP the Technological Innovation Award, endowed with €2.000. Two second prizes of €500 have been awarded to two candidates: the “HAAS TYRON HYBRID primary biomass crusher”, presented by its distributor in Spain, MANAGEMENT TECHNIQUES AND ENVIRONMENTAL MACHINERY, capable of working at normal speed with diesel or electricity both in the field and in the plant; and the “0-EMISSION” system”, presented by the consortium of companies formed by COMERCIAL PROJAR, SUGIMAT, SINGULARGREEN, COMERCIAL J. HUETE and INGELIA, which combines new combustion systems with biofilters that allow emissions to be considerably reduced in industrial projects.
